About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and PT. Penanda Citra Global ("GOTAG.me", "we"). By using the site you accept them, and creating an account asks you to accept them explicitly. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy policy.
The service
GOTAG.me lets you find and download photographs taken at events. Searching is free. Photos from most events are free to download; at events whose organiser sells their photos, the price is shown before you buy. Whether an event is free or paid is the organiser’s decision.
Automated BIB detection is not perfect
BIB numbers are read automatically. Occasionally a number is misread, or cannot be read at all, which means a search may miss a photo of you or return one that is not you. We do not guarantee that every photo of you will be found. Photos can take a while to appear after an event.
Your account
- Use an email address you control — it is where receipts and download notices go.
- Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person per account.
- We may suspend an account used for fraud, abuse or to break these terms.
- You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Using the photos
You may download, keep, print and share photos of yourself — free or bought — for your own personal, non-commercial use. The photos remain the property of the photographer or the event owner. Reselling them, or using them commercially, needs their permission.
Buying photos
- Prices are per photo and shown in the event’s currency before you place an order.
- Placing an order is not payment. An order is confirmed when the payment provider tells us the payment succeeded.
- An order that is not paid within the time shown expires, and nothing is charged.
- For a bank transfer, pay the exact amount to the account shown on the order within the time shown, and upload your receipt; our team confirms it.
- A price change never alters an order already placed.
Delivery
Photos you buy are delivered as downloads in your account as soon as payment is confirmed, and stay re-downloadable for as long as your account exists — both the full-size original and a 1000px copy for phones and social media. Please do not share your download links; they are for you.
Refunds
Photos are digital and delivered at once, so an order is not refunded because you changed your mind. We will refund, or replace where we can, when a photo you bought is clearly not of you, when a file cannot be downloaded, or when you were charged twice. Email [email protected] with your order number. Where we refund an order, access to its downloads ends.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- scrape the site, download in bulk, or try BIB numbers automatically to collect other people’s photos;
- try to remove watermarks, or get round rate limits, sign-in or payment;
- use someone else’s account;
- upload anything other than a genuine payment receipt where a receipt is asked for;
- use photos to harass, track or identify people who have not agreed to it.
Photos of you
If you appear in a photo and want it removed, email [email protected] with a link to it and we will take it down. Organisers can also ask us to remove photos from their events.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change or stop features. Photos from an event may be removed at the organiser's request or at the end of the period agreed with them — download the photos you want to keep.
Our liability
The service is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, our liability for a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or any right you have as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change we update the date at the top of this page. Changes never apply to an order already placed. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. If something goes wrong, write to us at [email protected] first — most problems are resolved that way.
